About the Role

You’ll be part of the frontline technology team supporting staff and students across Box Hill Institute’s campuses. Working within a structured service desk and end-user support environment, you’ll deliver reliable Tier 1 and Tier 2 ICT support across devices, classrooms and collaboration spaces. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role where your work directly supports teaching, learning and day-to-day operations, with opportunities to work across multiple sites and a broad range of end-user technologies.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 ICT support to staff and students onsite and remotely
  • Log, prioritise, resolve or escalate incidents and service requests in line with service standards
  • Support end-user devices including desktops, laptops, mobiles, peripherals and printers
  • Provide operational support for classroom, meeting and audio-visual technologies
  • Assist with device provisioning, deployment, refresh and decommissioning activities
  • Maintain accurate ICT asset and stock records
  • Contribute to knowledge articles and operational documentation
  • Deliver professional, courteous customer service and clear communication

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in ICT service desk and/or end-user support roles
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft, Apple and Android end-user environments
  • Ability to support devices, operating systems and applications within Tier 1 and Tier 2 boundaries
  • Exposure to classroom, collaboration and audio-visual technologies
  • Familiarity with IT service management processes
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to follow procedures, manage priorities and work across multiple locations

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Relevant IT qualification or equivalent demonstrated experience in ICT support
  • Ability to work across campuses on a rotating roster
  • Commitment to information security, privacy, child safety and workplace health and safety
  • Industry certifications (e.g. ITIL v4 Foundation, Microsoft 365, CompTIA A+) are desirable
